The vieil
She wears this veil so well
He won’t notice it’s there
Like a second skin, it has become attached to her
Hell, he hasn’t bothered peeling it off
Not even the edges
So, the flaws are still there, hiding under there
And like the others, he won’t get to know her
With a sigh of despair, she puts another layer
Praying for the day that she’ll be unveiled
