Somewhere

Somewhere everyday

Time flows

Like the air I breathe.

Somewhere the rain

Pours from a cloud

Into the remaining

Of a lake.

Somewhere I see

In this world

Where a stranger becomes

A friend.

And a friend becomes an enemy.

Somewhere among everything

I see a family

That's tight on money

And on the edge of debt.
