because
I am a Princess
and, by God,
I will get something
out of this day.

Except there is no
Gregory Peck
to take care of me.
Instead I'll wander this
old Fort alone.

I get more out of
visiting places by
myself, anyway.

Today I learned:

and that I can
make it on my own-
life, that is,
not a rifle.
