Always

Running to your arms

safety surrounded me

at three years old

Running to your arms

protection surrounded me

at sixteen years old

Running to your arms

heartbreak crushing me

at twenty-one years old

Becoming a woman I could see

my hero you is mentally ill

delusional paranoid dad

I never knew

till

I grew-up
