Spark in the Dark

Fractured heart, remaining defiant

Numb in the face of adoration

She could have it all

Relish his love

If it wasn't for

Her own self applied sedation

Insides bleak, cold like stone

A prisoner within herself

Banished to the dark

If only she would take the chance

Let him ignite her tormented heart

Her one true love

Him her spark.
