I'm not from Compton,
the trailer park, or the hood,
just livin' my life,
doing what I should.

I like to hunt,
I love to fish,
at night watch the stars,
sometimes I wish.

I have a boat,
it has no name,
happily married,
running no game.

The radio plays,
the windows are down,
I sing out loud,
I don't care who's around.

I'm from Texas
love the woods and the coast,
hell even out west,
the desert with the wires and posts.

Tumbleweeds rolling
near and far,
let's take a ride,
get in the car.

From the city to the country,
from the sand to the trees,
living my life,
happy and free.
