Spun
We are...
A generation suspended in asphyxiation
torn between vanity and breathing
painted masks smear
Forever screaming into tilted cup
There were days when love conquered fear
Now
we no longer linger here
Footsteps shrouded
constantly retreating
victims of loud speaker urgency
Pilgrims for a spun world
pioneering a new god
A Chemical persuasion
A reflections hesitation
Watch the duality unfold
An impasse steals the ******
We never knew moderation
