These heavy things on my feet
And weight on my shoulder
Forces me downwards, keeps me in place
Ensuring that it is too heavy and too hard to remove
Thor can not break the boulder on my shoulders
And Hulk can maybe lift me up
Making me believe that I'm at my best
And the view is beautiful
Life is beautiful
Then the shackles on my feet pull me back down
Into reality, showing me that the beauty only lasts a second
Only mental memories of the time can make you feel good
But it's only a memory and memories fade
For they give you the false hope of reality
You believe you can reach there a again
Only to remember the weight of your true life is still on your feet
And the pressure on your shoulder only becoming heavier when you reach the air
For it is too much to handle
Shackles is your sense of reality
Saving you from the insanity
Of the beautiful life you wish to have
