I can feel it in my bones
I can hear the dissonant tones
I see the clouds shifting above
I hear the cry of the mourning dove
Its song kicking in my head
I'm filled with dread
I wander down the empty streets
Hearing a strange series of beats
The rhythm of the times as it were
And time became a blur
The sun vanished into the trees
I can hear the night breeze
I look to the stars
I ignore the speeding cars
And focus on the heavenly lights
