Ropes
Swinging Swinging on the rope,
Their little heart filled with so much hope.
From their problems they always fled,
Only joy went through their head.
A couple years have gone and past,
And they really seem to grow so fast.
Problems came but no one cared,
Their cry of sadness no one heard.
Soon enough arrived the guilt,
A protective wall was quickly built.
Under siege the fort was kept,
Deep inside they wept, and wept.
All was covered by smokey fog,
Every movement became a slog.
Looking forward all seemed dark,
Their eyes dimmed, and lost their spark.
They found it way too hard to cope,
Now they're swinging from a rope.
With a noose around their head,
Their body was cold, and dead.
