If I told him all I feel,
would he see my love's for real?
And if he knew my thoughts each day
What would he say?

If I let him read my story
Praising him with love & glory.
If he knew it's about him I pray
What would he say?

And if my poetry he did read
and if he knew it's him I need -
that my days without him are filled with gray -
What would he say?

And if I met another man
and in marriage he asked for my hand
the truth would be told, down it would lay
but what would HE say?
