Under the stars
I walk alone
To the beat of your footsteps that still echo in my mind
And even though I am alone
I feel your presence
I still see your everlasting gaze that seems to contain all the stars in the universe
And it still has a hold on me
Your rough hands on my back
Your arms that can cure any obstacle I face
Embracing me
And I wish it lasted forever
Because to feel that embrace and to see your bright eyes
Is to not feel alone
And god knows the last thing I need is to feel alone
Even if you're not with me
I need to feel like you are
Because forgetting you
Is like forgetting my home

Or how the earth looks
