Racing Thoughts

Racing thoughts of your betrayal,

Long embraces that make me sail

Away, away on a ship of memories

The heavy beat of my heart,

The way your eyes make me start

To forget the troubles of our love

Alone and sitting in the night

I’m more comfortable without the light

That hangs above my head
