Lock eyes,
My heart
                  Stops
Inside my chest
There is a  t u g g i n g  towards you
You smirk, sending my heart flying
Strawberry Moon Fields
Where we met
Where we fell in love
Where I'll wish I was the rest of my restless teenage days
cold rain, warm hands. You eyes all over me.
Strawberry Moon Fields
Where we met, where you fell in love
Where we wished we were that cold Sunday
Begging and crying
My tears turned hot with the water
Dripping, pedal to pedal
Eyelashes drenched
Heart broken
Hands shaking as I picked up my phone
Chest emptied by wholesome words.
Beautiful harmful words.

Your words.
