Ship..

I sail my ship with proud plume of a sail,
On seas, deep blue and often brewing fiery gale,

The bow is of steel and the deck shines like peacock’s tail,
It has its magic and pure love full in its golden grail.

Through different lands I put my furling proud white sails,
And from all ports get glances as if intended for rising gale,

Moon my friend in the lofty night with stars shining above so bright,
Together we play and sing while twinkling diamonds keep  the vigil with their light.

Our song is love that fills my heart with soothing delight,
Till dawn thrusts its golden swords with full might,

And lo a new morn comes sending the ghosts away with its shining light,
For after the dark of the night the day is always bright,

The bow may tremble with fiery gales and sails may flutter with winds so light,
But then the shore looms near and all fear is a past blight,

The sea embraces the shore as if sleeping in its core,
Gently lapping the cheeks of its sandy shores,

Time is still abroad my ship Serenity,
She is my friend and I her lone rider in tranquility,

My muses I muse on her deck at night,
While she rides on the waves high to the oceans delight,

Deep in the ocean lies the shining Golden Pearl,
Whoso ever dives deep finds it in its curl.

And then the time is no more neither ship nor shore,
Believe me my friends it is no folklore,

Thus, is the journey of Serenity,
Its name all a wise tranquility,

If you wear a necklace of love, and heart is pure as innocent dove,
You will say what has been said is not a hearsay now.
