If I Could

If I could, I would go back to the day you flew so far away from me Seen by heart, no longer by eye I wait for that day I too will fly If I could, I would change fate, erase the marks on the dirtied slate Seen by heart, no longer by eye I wait for the day I too will fly You flew like a butterfly through the crystal blue sky Seen by heart, no longer by eye There will come a day when we all will fly Forever in memory I will never say goodbye
