I care, don't worry

oh i'm listening, don't get offended

nope, and no, you're not offending

it's me here always waiting,

accompanied by all your complaining,

not merely listening, but acting on will,

to gift a **** to care and commit,

and no there's nothing else i'm

planning, i'm your disposable pair of ears,

floating in your head and not attached,

not yours at all really but you seem to be

using mine much more than your own,

so whose ears do i call these?

when i get them back, they're too worn out

for all the noise in my own head!
