The bravest of them all,
Hold your head up; stand tall,
You're the silent spitfire,
The entire world can admire,

Soaring within touching distance,
Always there; such consistence,
We owe you more than a life,
So brave you are; what about your wife?

The country will honour the memory;
Of you so bravely taking on the enemy,
We'll wear a poppy on our chest with pride;
For the freedom that you managed to provide.
