"What's the Story, Mourning Glory?"
There's something happening here,
Children, women, disappear.
Close your heart, cover your eyes,
Take it to the battle side.
What's the story, Mourning Glory?
AreΒ Β dreams meant to be this gory?
Voices muffled in the streets,
Chains constrain our moving feet.
Mourning Glory,
Stiffen that lip,
Pull it together,
Make it quick.
Mourning Glory,
Where do you fight?
Surely not the battle site.
Is your anguish written down?
Recorded with a ****** frown?
Fighting for a perfect world,
Something needs to save you, girl.
