He is looking at me in frustration,
I failed him once again.
Should chosen a business concentration,
Should have given up a dream of magnificence.

I never play volleyball like other girls,
I was too rough to sit down and be a lady,
I was banned from skateboarding and basketball,
Math was not for girls but I won every time.

But all my efforts have been tried in vain,
As I stumbled in my tomboy skin.
For to him, everything I do will be pointless,
every rebellion is to him yelling in pink.
