When your soul is shattered, How  do find the will to continue on?
All you feel is loneliness and sorrow. Isolating all from your life, you begin.
Some worry and question your actions,
You wish to vent, but not towards others,
For the fear of letting them in.
You believe they can not understand,
That they will only judge.

For each pain and regret you feel inside,
There is a slash.
A slash of wounded flesh.
What was once internal has now become external.
You turn the emotional into physical.
You feel and think as if each healing will weaken your sorrowful feeling.
As each wound is healed, a scar is left. It represent apart of you.
It represent all the pain You put me through.

All those you once held near, now turn their backs.
You see now that you should have accepted their help.
You now wish you could back track. Now they will not understand your actions,
For you will not receive a chance to explain.
You believed to keep them from worrying, only to make it worse.
So now the isolation of everyone has become true.
With no one to ever accompany you.
And now forever you’ll be,
A victim of your minds treacherous torment.
