Street Ways

For those ailing worlds,

Brave leaves blow erstwhile.

Those suffocated trees

poise down the High Street

fickle wind - heckles

once proud alleyways,

whose heavy Terracotta pots

are moved from their base

and so broken dahlias lay prostrate

lamenting their cruel dominion.
