The gleeful laughter was like myrrh,

Dewy, unprovoked,

Mouth opened, like a gaping hole

In Elysium….

She laughed, and I watched,

She laughed like life was bereft of pain;

I looked at her… and I laughed;

Cause her laughter bore a spell.
