Dear rain

by Kees

Fire falls from the sky Endings are near What is good As long as the rainbow still shows when the sun glows Then imprints itself on the moon the moon will cry from such a beauty One big tear which drops on the world Trees grow from this making apples and oranges Man and woman rise from roots So there must be a serpent forming from the branch Who looks woman in the eyes and says you have the power to make man cower (It is true but the idea is not needed) So then the woman laid down serpently charms on the man For test to only say I jest Which left the man in tears to eat the apples of fears So now the clouds see love is not seen clearly Pain can be washed away in rain So it fell until none was left Lonely and sad the earth was Rain continued for years As the rain built love in its true shape and form Humans were then born again
