There's a monster down deep inside
Locked behind bars and chains
I call him Sin, I imprisoned him
But he keeps screaming my name
"Master, why won't you set me free?
I only want to be your friend..."
"Because I let you go before
And we both know how that ends...

You use my hands to scream and shout
And my hands to hurt those I love.
Demon, I finally cast you out
With the power of my God above!"

O' Lord mend my fractured soul,
Unite my heart to fear thy name
Forsaken among the dead
Like the slain who lie in the grave
Thou hast put me in the lowest pit
In dark places of the depths
But even though I'm way down here
I worship you with every breath

Beneath this tower alone and lost
I am trying to find your face
I don't have the power to pay the cost
Undeserving of your grace

Forgive me
Forgive me
Forgive me
