You Say..

You say that your not your past and that it doesn't define you. Yet you let it dominate you everyday. You say your past doesn't define you? Then tell me why we can't be together. You say that your not your past but hasn't it made you who you are today? You say that somehow it will workout, but can't you see your past is still catching up to you? You say you want me, but don't we both know who your going to end up with? You say you hate her, but don't we both know there is a fine line? You say you wont let it ruin us, but don't we both know your gonna do what you have to do? You say who cares, but don't we both know you do? You say i make you happy, but then why do you say you hate your life? You say you want me, but do you have to lie?
