Darling, you haunt me
In my waking moments
And in my sleep
Your scent it lingers
Like ghostly hands pulling me in
Intoxicating
And addicting
It sneaks through
In the gaps of your absence
In the shirt you wore the night before
When you slept so closely next to me
In the sheets of my bedding
And in the comfort of my own skin
Where you gently touched me

You let your skin burn mine
And left behind your scent
For me to find
For me to drown in
For me to think of only you
In all the places you knew I would be
Oh, you devil in disguise
But I suppose I mustn't complain
After all, I am the addict
And an addict does not decline a high
But dwells in the clouds of their sky
You are that sky
And you smell like heaven
