The taste of beer tripping
on his breath and lips
Was intoxicating enough.
My nostrils swooned and
My eyelids drooped.
I put my face to his chest and breathed.
I slid into his iris and danced there.
It was comfortable.
In his bed.
We fell into each other.
And our bodies fit together
We rolled through the night;
This place became familiar and bitter.
