Gripping tighter on the sheets--
Feeling weft and weave of cotton thread
Making rough what was once neat--
Feeling left abreast at once upon my bed

As we do when free of clothes--
Were it winter's bite or summer simper
Wind drifting 'pon our **** repose--
As we taste each other's quiet whimpers.
