Dented
Where does my mind slip when my head tips from habit?
When does the time skip and reveal gold watches tenaciously ticking?
Humans lost in conditions that may be DNA inclined
Casually projected with a fingerprint manifested for clarity on the fly
You see we all lose time with formal fictions for the sake of momentary highs
Sometimes they cross and we find the cost is frenzied f*cks for forgetting
Then into the world that never needed so many institutions
I watched those mouths claim purity while plucking a sidewalk bloom
Trivial for some but then again I never knew traditional company
Dead white in the cold clutch and I never heard the sighs
They knew the cost for slow motion gods and the tides slowly lost reason
Another casualty in a war for reality between mind and vulnerable eye
What an absurd rotation
What an exhausting flirtation
When obscurity speaks a lie
