Youth of today are yesterday’s tomorrow,
So many tales of distress and sorrow,
How do we save them from a path of destruction?
If we ourselves reek of corruption.

We say one thing, and do another
Lest we realize, to some we are as important as their mother
In spite of all they come to us each day
Their ears listen closely to every word we say

But do we hear them??
This poem is for teachers everywhere.
