To live a life of endless bliss
Cannot compare to one’s first kiss.
To own to the earth and the sky above
Cannot compare to one’s first love.
Trinkets, tokens, bits of lace,
Cannot compare to your embrace.
A mansion on a private isle,
Cannot compare to your sweet smile.
I don’t need gifts to be delighted,
So long as love’s not unrequited.
And though it beats them all for greed
Your love’s the only gift I need
