Jul 2017
It smells of honeysuckle and rain
Strangers voices carry across the lake
Nothing like when you were here
It is warm and                          It was frozen,
Filled with a buzz                      silent
Tears cascade down my face
For I miss you
And a heart holding loss so dear
Is sure to lose its wits
