The Rat Poet
Am I the Rat poet
From an ossuary of ages
Whose words scurry
Along blind tunnels
Am I the Rat poet
Locked in counterfeit cages
Whose letters wander in deficit
With a majestic malevolence
Am I the Rat poet
Exposing counterfeit confessions
Of plagued and decaying text
Who hears the sounds of burning books
Am I the Rat poet
Who writes what you despise
Yes, Yes, Yes
I am the Rat Poet
Can't you tell by my listening eyes
