I stop and I say
What are we doing
We know how little time we have
Yet we walk like death is not tomorrow
A hour from now
Or in the next minute
We move with low purpose
We talk holding off what we say
Procrastination rules what we do
Time watches us with his popcorn and soda laughing, crumbs flying out his mouth
soda leaking out his nose
Tears of the time we wasted flowing down his cheek
We have such little time until the day we die
Let's fight until we die
Love hard until our heart stops
Be honest with ourselves
there's nothing to lose with so little time
We have to have fun
We gotta die happy
There can't be regrets
A frown will not be on my face as I close my eyes
Because I loved the little time I had before I died
