a poem focused
on itself and all
the comments i
count as wealth

all is well
upon this page
i gage my worth
by what you say

i may lack what you
call self esteem
but dream in
technicolor scenes

part of me i
found deep down
is narcissistic or
a clown

the other part just
wants to help
for wisdom's worthless
on a shelf

i do not write this
just for me
I write to support
my ideology

my trials and attempts
to appeal to reason
fall on deaf ears if
no one sees them
