Woke up in tears, but I knotted my tie
I put on a mask, and I let my tears dry
The sun hit my skin as I walked through the door
And I wanted to die, but I had to give more

So I kept going without my fire
But when I went driving my car blew a tire
I left it out there in the middle of the road
Would’ve sank with it, if it was a boat

So I looked to my feet and felt something new
Anger and sadness in a big stew
But then it was gone, and nothing remained
I fell to the ground, and that’s where I stayed

Laying there thoughtless on the cold floor
I couldn’t find reasons to fight anymore
Darkness came quickly and ended the day
Lost all the things that I wanted to say.
