The headlands are full of marigolds
and corn flowers,
borne from fallow fields.
Temporal but captivating.
Perhaps from another wind
will wild Orchid's seed,
on the cusp of nature's reserve,
if only allowed to persevere ?
but whose effort's should
never be doubted.
