May 2012
It has come to my attention that you have lied
About everything we hold dear
There is nothing more I could have tried
To avoid facing my fear
I walked in to our home
Unannounced, to find you sitting
With a ***** on your lap, her body so beautiful it was made of chrome
I knew at that moment you were quitting
It was like my life had come to end
Twenty years down the drain
And to you my journal all I could send
Was a diamond ring full of pain
But it was not what I gave him
A sharpened blade of rage
On the faintest of whim
Yet I realize as I put this on a page
That a whim was not what it took
Years of pain at the end of his fist
Had driven me to give him this look
Of blood pouring from a heart that I have so dearly missed
So though it is my very last day
I take no remorse to what you had to pay
