It's not fair, is it?
Being punished, when you've done nothing wrong,
But it happens,
It's not fair, is it?
Trying to stand up for your friend, then getting pushed down again,
But it happens,
It's not fair, is it?
Waiting for something, then not being able to go when it comes,
But it happens,
It's not fair, is it?
When you know you have a shoulder to cry on, but they're not around,
But it happens,
It's not fair, is it?
Knowing you could of done something, if you had only gone somewhere,
But it happens,
It's not fair, is it?
When you do something, then someone else takes the credit,
But it happens,
It's not fair, is it?
If you know something isn't fair, however nothing can be said,
But it happens,
It's not fair, is it?
Reading through this poem, only to find it ends with a question,
It's just not fair, is it?
