I cannot see the world as you do,
But I remember it well,
Blue-skies, clouds and sunshine,
Rain, hail and thunder too,
Now I can smell it, hear it and remember.

I cannot see the faces I love,
but I remember them well,
smiles, laughter, dances and play,
sadness, tears and sometimes pain,
Now I can sense it, feel it and remember.

I cannot see the beauty of the world,
But I remember it well,
Dawn, dusk, nature and creation,
war, destruction, growth and acceptance.
now I can know it in my heart and remember.

But I cannot See it.
Imagine if you suddenly became blind and had to rely on other senses and memory!!!!
