Heroes (Poem number 7)

What are heroes? Heroes keep us safe. Heroes don’t have powers, Like Superman and Flash. Heroes aren’t like Batman, Who puts on a suit at night, And goes out to save one city. It takes more than one man or woman to save one city. Heroes are people who save us. We don’t think about them every day. We don’t even thank them every day. Heroes are always around us. Heroes help to keep us free. There are heroes out there who are risking their lives for us. Some people think that we are in cartoons, Where the cartoon heroes are saving us. All heroes are not forgotten, All heroes are missed, All heroes are thought about, All heroes are prayed for, All heroes are important. Heroes are our heroes
