May 2012
Like a gray cloud,
you block out the sun to my self
when I’m having fun.
Yelling—drinking—jammin’
Your memory rains
on the campfire I’m sitting next to
with friends I’ve only met tonight.

& the rain start's pourin'
the rain start's pourin'
       --the rain start's pourin'

dark clouds
on the outlier
of that single ray of sunshine
time can't unwind
that molecular moment
our bodies decided to part.

& the rain start's pourin'
the rain start's pourin'
       --the rain start's pourin'
