Now You're Just history That I Used To Know
Look to the future,
Not to the past,
Although you enjoyed it,
It never should last.
To where you used to belong,
Seems so distant and far,
Shut off and closed,
No door left ajar.
Ignore what you used to have,
Friends, colleagues, good times,
Remove all the photographs,
And forget all the rhymes.
Memories gone. Laughter gone,
Forgotten times, but don't be low,
Look to the future,
Now you're just history that I used to know.
