There I was.
With all the solitude in the world,
The moon taking her stance,
of me she wanted no part.
The stars seeking revenge,
It’s light on me will not descend.
The universe seemed dimmed,
My eyes lost its sight
My soul left my body
….it no longer recognized my fog.

There I was,
My solitude and I.
The sun was hiding its face,
The plants were looking at me with irreverent disdain.
My world was grim and dark
My love had left my side.

There I was,
completely dejected…..

Even my solitude gave me her back.
