I remember the day that I met you
The sun was shining along with a breeze
We had a blast at the park barbecue
You and I relaxed underneath the trees

When I opened my eyes you were not here
I can still smell your scent on your pillow
There is no one who can lend me an ear
Without you I am at an all-time low

I still miss you when I am all alone
The fun did not seem to last long enough
because now I am broken to the bone
No one told me that I had to be tough

Everyday I bring flowers to your grave
You came and left just like a tidal wave
