She was cared for and loved,
but she didn't know it.
She was cherished and adored,
but she didn't know that either.
She felt empty.
She felt tired.
Exhausted.
Lonely.
She felt like nothing she could do would ever be good enough.
That's the thought process she's been brought to.
Brought to by a boy she thought was once perfect.
That feeling of rejection,
or the ache of what will never happen,
goes away she says.
After a while.
After a really long while.
After it eats at you,
and reminds you of all the memories that the both of you shared.
After it consumes your thoughts.
After it tears you down.
After it drowns you in this pool of feelings and emotion.
And the worst part is when it creeps into your head at your darkest hour,
waiting,
for just the right time to attack.
"Yeah, nevermind." she says.
"It never goes away."
You're poison to her thoughts.
You're killing her,
and she's only 14.
Care for her!
Love her!
Cherish her!
Adore her!
She is beautifully out of place,
like the sun during the night.
But the girl who was afraid to be,
so simply just wanted to be,
but the thoughts you placed in her precious lil' head are
DEADLY.
