I think we're all just sad people wearing happy faces,
sitting and waiting for someone, something to change,
looking for comfort in all the wrong places,
only to find that everything stays the same.

Distractions and abstractions ease a certain pain -
both addicted and afflicted -
occupy thoughts, occupy the brain.

What's the point in finishing anyway?
