Fly
Fly like an angel in the open sky,
Under a cloak of night,
soar untethered by gravities sway
Let your heart sing the song of unbridled joy
as the world is your playground.
High in the snow kissed mountains,
To the deepest darkest valleys
Fearlessly you maneuver the open air,
So natural to you, like instinct.
Like the birds that migrate these cold seasons,
You are on a journey, the journey home.
A home where there is no greater joy.
No greater love nor sense of being.
The sky wraps you up into its ever loving arms
Enveloping you in a blanket of peace and tranquility.
And when the night is done,
And you are called to that gentle slumber.
Know that those loving arms will always be there,
waiting lovingly to embrace you once again.
