I saw a  squirrel in a tree,
I swear it stopped and smiled at me,
I asked the squirrel where he'd been,
He told me all the things he'd seen,
We talked and talked about so many things,
From humming birds to diamond rings,
We discussed how things in life should go,
I was so glad i said hello,
The squirrel introduced his wife,
And told me all about his life,
I shared the news about mine,
We even had a glass of wine,
Me and squirrel always chat,
From politics to this and that,
He doesnt see the bad just good,
I love to visit the deep dark wood.
